Fixed C13 modifications for Mascot

Hi,

I have a C13 labeled sample, R+6 and K+6 (SILAC), and would like to search through Mascot with those modifications fixed. However, they are not offered in the list. Would you, please, help me write the script? Thank you!

Hi Sanja,

For Mascot searches, we get the list of modifications that are available from the Mascot server. If you update the Mascot server's configuration and add them, they should automatically start showing up in our search protocol editor. The specifics for how to add a new modification varies based on your version of Mascot, but these links might help:
