Longtime labkey user first time installation problem (well its been a while). Followed the linux instructions on the website (installing on Centos7) and when I start it up I get a 500 error. Versions all appear to be supported(javac 1.8.0_66, PostgreSQL 9.2.14, apache-tomcat-7.0.67). Tomcat appears to running just fine. Any suggestions would be great.

We've seen reports like this from folks attempting to use the very latest Tomcat releases. It appears that a Tomcat change is causing it to return illegal values for one of the request methods we use... but we haven't investigated fully or reported the issue to them yet.

If you want to avoid the problem, I suggest using an earlier Tomcat release for now.

Just curious, was the version of Tomcat you have (7.0.67) downloaded or was it apart of a yum package?

As Adam stated, we are seeing some weird behavior with Tomcat, but it is depends on which version number. For example, 7.0.64 doesn't display the behavior you describe.

Yes, I downloaded (not yum) tomcat-7.0.67 and it didn't work.
7.0.57 worked. I was able to install labkey successfully.
