Adding custom fields to study specimen

It would be very handy to have the ability to add custom fields to the study specimen object. Are there any plans afoot to add this functionality?

This is a good idea, so I've entered the following issue to track this request: https://cpas.fhcrc.org/Issues/home/issues/details.view?issueId=3040 It probably won't make it into 2.1, since we don't have a sponsor yet, but this way we can make sure the request doesn't get lost. Thanks, Britt
